Zesco came from 2-1 down in the first half to beat Npasa 3-2 away in Lusaka on Saturday to end a five-match winless run stretching back to May 27.
"We have a beautiful team we can score, we can fight," Nyirenda said.
"You could see in today’s game, that is a true mark of a champion.
"2-0 down through our own mistakes and then we came back and scored great goals. That’s all we need from a team that is aspiring to represent this nation."
Prior to Saturdays win over Napsa, Zesco have only managed two points from their last five games.
