Zambia to host Zimbabwe in friendly
Kalililo Kakonje of Zambia at a training camp
Goalkeeper Kalililo Kakonje has been recalled for the match after missing the July 6 friendly away to Malawi that Zambia lost 1-0.
However, nine players from that Malawi friendly have been left out of the forthcoming friendly.
Renard has not also picked any foreign-based players for the game although Zimbabwean-based defender Aaron Katebe is on standby.
The Frenchman has also called an unknown schoolboy defender Godfrey Ngwenya after impressing him at youth tournament in Lusaka.
Next month’s friendly will be Zambia's second game at their brand new 40,000 capacity Chinese-built home ground in Ndola where they beat Ghana 2-0 on June 9 in a 2014 FIFA World Cup Group D qualifier.
Meanwhile, this will be Zimbabwe's first visit to Zambia since May 1, 2004.
That friendly ended 1-1 at Independence Stadium in Lusaka.
