SuperSport Utd, Power Dynamos draw in friendly
Zambian MTN/FAZ Super Division champions Power Dynamos on Tuesday drew 3-3 with SuperSport United in a club friendly in Groenakloof.
Power are on a week-long training camp of South Africa that began on Monday where they are also expected to play Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs in training games.
Meanwhile in Tuesday’s friendly, Power took the lead in 14th minute through striker Graven Chitalu while SuperSport leveled scores through Subusiso Zuma three minutes later.
Power were again on top in the 19th minute through defender Lawrence Chungu before Zuma equalized to see the two teams go 2-2 into halftime.
Simon Bwalya got Power's third goal in the 47th minute but their lead was cut in the 76th minute when Franklin Cale curled in a free kick to see the two teams finish even.
Power are scheduled to face Pirates tomorrow although Power officials have yet to confirm the venue and time of the training game.
Next month, Power will return to South Africa together with league runners-up Red Arrows to play in a four-club tournament starting on February 4 in Cape Town involving Ajax Cape Town and Santos.
