The 2010 Zambia Super Division champions Zesco United will travel to Sudan this weekend to play two international friendly matches against Al Merreikh and Al Hilal.

Zesco club secretary Justin Mumba told MTNFootball.com that the invitation was an all-expense paid trip.

"We are leaving for Sudan on Sunday and will be back on the 24th," Mumba said.

"We will play a friend each against Al Merreikh and Zesco United while there. The dates of those matches are yet to be communicated to us."

The friendly will be Zesco's fifth and sixth pre-season international friendly games so far played away this year.

Zesco played three South Africa clubs Ajax Cape Town, Santos and Orlando Pirates against whom they lost 3-1, 3-2 and 2-1 respectively.

Wedson Nyirenda's team also travelled to DR Congo where they also lost 3-2 to TP Mazembe.

“Despite the results, these are great pre-season preparations for us playing foreign clubs,” Mumba said.
