Why Mayuka will shine at Southampton

Mayuka says his dream has come true
Expectations
are high following Emmanuel Mayuka’s move to promoted English Premiership side
Southampton, but these are the reasons why he will make it.
The 21-year-old on Tuesday signed a £3million five-year deal with The Saints.
Here are four reasons why the Zambian striker will be a hit with The Saints.
1. Gradual transition to European football
Mayuka arrives in England just four years after compatriot Collins Mbesuma's bombed signing at neighbouring and now fallen Portsmouth.
However unlike Mbesuma, Mayuka should have an easier transition into the English theatre from Israel and later Switzerland, unlike Mbesuma who jumped straight into the deep end from Kaizer Chiefs.
2. He is a proven goal scorer
Mayuka’s two and half season stint at Swiss club Young Boys Berne has helped smooth his path into European football.
At Young Boys, he scored 20 goals, nine in each of the last two seasons since he joined from Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel in 2010.
3. He is a real winner
Mayuka also comes to England as a real winner matching his club form with national team experience.
His three goals for Zambia at the 2012 Africa Cup helped inspire Chipolopolo to their debut continental title victory.
His big game temperament should serve him well in England.
4. Little engine that could
Despite his small build, Mayuka's pace and ability to take on and beat defenders almost twice his size will also serve him well in the tough Premiership where size really does matter.
