Napsa Stars coach Patrick Phiri has conceded they are struggling to cope after a five-match winless run.

Promoted Napsa have collected just one point from their last four games since returning from the two-week mid-season break on July 14.

"It (Napsa Stars poor form) is confirmation we didn’t manage the recess very well and when we reached the number five position, it got to our heads," Phiri told MTNFootball.com.

"We are paying the price now but it is not yet over."

On Wednesday, Napsa have a chance to try and stem that gradual downward spiral when they host second placed Zanaco in Lusaka in a rescheduled MTN/FAZ Super Division Week 17 game.

"Zanaco is a big team but we also need the three points because we have now gone four games without a win and need the three points very badly," Phiri said.

However, Napsa have work cut for them against Zanaco who enjoy a 1-0 win from the two sides first meeting on April 7 at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.
