Jacob Mulenga pulls out of Korea friendly

Striker Jacob Mulenga will miss Zambia's friendly against Korea in Seoul on Wednesday due to a family emergency.

Mulenga confirmed to MTNFootball.com from his base in Holland that he would be travelling South Africa to visit a family member who was receiving treatment there.

The FC Utrecht striker was due to end his 11 month Zambia hiatus after recovering from an injury he sustained last November.

And the Football Association of Zambia also confirmed that Mulenga has pulled out of Wednesdays friendly.

Zambia meanwhile, set off for Korea on Saturday morning.

Four home-based players including defender Aaron Katebe of Hwange in Zimbabwe will travel from Lusaka to Seoul via Johannesburg where they will be joined by four South African based players.

The European and China-based call-ups will join the team in Seoul by Monday.
