Top 3 clubs Zesco, Zanaco and Power Dynamos all lost in their respective Saturday Week 18 games. At Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka, visitors Zesco United hopes of extending their lead at the top of the MTN/FAZ Super Division table were hit after losing 1-0 away to Green Buffaloes.

A Dears Kakunta header in the 68th minute handed Buffaloes their first win over Zesco this season.

Across town at Sunset Stadium, 10-man Red Arrows also beat second placed Zanaco by the same margin with striker Lubinda Mundia there scored the winner in the 47th minute.

However 20 minutes later, Arrows defender Joseph Zimba was sent off for a foul on Zanaco striker Elson Mkandwire.

And up in Kitwe at Arthur Davies Stadium, Nchanga Rangers dispatched hosts Power to their first home loss of the season.

It didn’t help that Ranger first goal was scored by striker Alex Ng'onga in the 38th minute.

Ng’onga joined Rangers on loan from Power in July until the end of the season.

Aubrey Funga added Rangers' second in the 66th minute to send Power to their first home loss since losing 1-0 to Forest Rangers on November 9, 2011.

However, despite the defeats, the status quo remains.

Zesco still enjoy a one-point lead from 19 games over Zanaco who have a game in hand on 38 and 37 points respectively.

In third place are Power Dynamos who have 35 points with Arrows fourth and a point behind following their win over Zanaco.
