Power Dynamos stayed third on the MTN/FAZ Super Division table after beating Red Arrows 1-0 in Kitwe.

The defending MTN/FAZ Super Division champions were lucky to come away with a home win over Arrows at Arthur Davies Stadium where the visitors have not won since 2004.

Arrows dominated for most parts of the match led by striker Mundia Lubinda who tormented Power's defence throughout but was guilty of poor finishing.

Power on the other hand were totally flat that was epitomized by midfielder Joseph Sitali's poor form.

Sitali was reportedly playing through the pain barrier against Arrows before he was substituted in the 56th minute for midfielder Simon Bwalya.

Power's secured their victory thanks to a very fortunate goal from midfielder Crispin Mulenga in the 59th minute who had been on the pitch barely 10 minutes after replacing Thomas Nyirenda.

Power move from 25 to 28 points, four less than Zesco United who have briefly returned to the top of the table after a 1-0 away win over Indeni in their Ndola derby played at Indeni Sports Complex.

Zesco lone goal of the game was scored by Kangwa Chileshe in the 44th minute.

Meanwhile Zanaco, who are also on 32 points, could reclaim top spot should they beat 13th placed visitors Nkana on Sunday in Lusaka.

Nkana are without a win in 10 successive league games since beating Roan United 3-0 away in Luanshya on April 14 and have picked up just seven points during their winless run.
