"We played well despite scoring one goal," the Southampton striker said.
"We still have a chance. We just have to wait and see in the next game in Uganda."
Zambia beat Uganda 1-0 in their third round, first leg game played on September 8 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
A draw away in Kampala on October 13 will be enough for the African champions to sail through to the 2013 finals to be held from January 19 to February 10 in South Africa.
