Club duty could rule out South Africa and DR Congo-based players from Zambia's friendly in South Korea on August 15, officials said.

Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) communications officer Erick Mwanza said league and CAF club cup commitments may see many of  the team’s key players miss the African champions visit to Seoul next month.

"Take note of the peculiarity of this date and that a good number of the stars who went to the Nations Cup may not be available," Mwanza said.

"We may not have all the players from TP Mazembe, we may not also have all the players from the Premier Soccer League (PSL) of South Africa."

The South Korea friendly will come just four days before Mazembe's CAF Champions League Group A away game against Zamalek of Egypt on August 19.

Zambia have five key players at Mazembe with another five including goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene are from the PSL.

"But since we control our league, we can suspended it to allow our players to move and play in Seoul," Mwanza said.

"We will have the whole contingent from Europe and from China."

The European players likely to be available are defender Emmanuel Mbola from Porto and striker Emmanuel Mayuka of Swiss side Young Boys.

Others are striker's Jacob Mulenga and Rodgers Kola of Dutch side FC Utrecht and Gent in Belgium respectively.

From China are Christopher Katongo and Isaac Chansa both from Henan Jianye including James Chamanga of Dalian Shide.
