Isaac Chansa made a high profile debut on Saturday at Chinese club Henan Jianye in a 1-1 home draw against Liaoning Whowin.

The former Orlando Pirates midfielder played the full 90 minutes for Henan following his move there a fortnight ago from the South African Premiership champions.

It was a fairly good day on the pitch for both Chansa and his compatriot Christopher Katongo who also played the full 90 minutes.

Katongo especially stole the show after scoring Henan's goal in the 70th minute and his sixth of the season.

However, South Korean defender Yoo-Jin Kim denied Henan a chance to collect their fifth win of the season when he equalised to deny Henan their fifth league victory.

Henan remain rooted to the bottom of the Chinese Super League table in 16th place on 15 points from as many games played and are 21 points adrift of leaders Guangzhou Evergrande.
