Herve Renard says 50 per cent of the Zambia team that lost to South Korea will play against Uganda.

Renard said he hopes seven players who missed Zambia's 2-1 loss to Korea on Wednesday will be available for next month’s Uganda game.

"It was a very good picture for me," Renard said.

"You can see the international level is not for some players, they are (just) very good in Zambia and Africa.

"The team that will start against Uganda will be maybe 50 percent of this one (that faced South Korea)."

Zambia face Uganda on September 8 in a 2013 Africa Cup third round, first leg match in Ndola.

In the game against South Korea, Renard missed several key players for various reasons.

Striker Jacob Mulenga of FC Utrecht in Holland missed the friendly due to an illness in his family.

Key midfielder Rainford Kalaba and four of his four-TP Mazembe team mates including Jonas Sakuwaha of El Merriekh in Sudan missed the friendly due to CAF interclub duty this weekend.

Kalaba's team mate Nathan Sinkala missed the game due to illness.
