Renard Drops Latecomers
Zambia coach Herve Renard turns back three Zesco United players for reporting late ahead of Wednesdays Zimbabwe friendly in Ndola.
The dropped trio were part of six Zesco callups for the friendly against Zimbabwe to be played at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
"Winstone kalengo,John Chingandu and Charles Siyingwa have been chased from camp becaused they did not report on time," Team manager Lusekelo Kamwambi said after Mondays training session.
Striker Kalengo,midfielder Chingandu and defender Siyingwa had just traveled back to Ndola from Lusaka where Zesco had just lost 1-0 away to Green Buffaloes in a league game.
"Their friends Gift Sakuwaha,Nyambe Mulenga and Jackson Mwanza reported on time,"Kamwambi said.
Meanwhile, Angolan based defender Lawrence Phiri and Aaron Katebe of Zimbabwean club Hwange arrived on Monday.
