Masilela almost ready to train
Bafana Bafana left-back Tsepo Masilela will
return to full training in the next few days and hope that by then his future
may be clearer.
The Bafana Bafana left-back has attracted
interest from Spain, France and Germany, but has so far been unable to undergo
a medical at any prospective new club.
He suffered a knee injury in SA's 1-1 draw
with Ethiopia in a 2014 World Cup qualifier last month, having been battling
with constant niggles in the final few weeks of the 2011-12 season.
Masilela has been undergoing rehabilitation
at home, despite having a year remaining on his contract with Maccabi Haifa. He
spent last season on loan at Getafe.
The plan is for him not to return to Israel
and the club have given him their blessing to either find a permanent transfer
to a European team or another loan deal.
