Gavin Hunt has admitted that some of his tactics and decisions were wrong on Saturday evening during the MTN8 final against Moroka Swallows at the Orlando Stadium.

Hunt particularly bemoaned his decision to start with veteran striker Sibusiso Zuma.

Zuma was substituted in the 58th minute of the match in favour of young striker Kermitt Erasmus when the score was still 1-1.

“It was a turning point for us when he went off because I thought we played better,” Hunt said.

“We could not hold our breath upfront. I thought he could not hold up the ball and I believed we needed to change and when we changed we should have scored.

“When Kermitt came on he gave us impetus to break free upfront.

“I asked Zuma to do the job tonight and I thought he battled away,” Hunt said.
