Dlamini wary of Swallows’ experience
Usuthu finished in seventh place on the league table last season to book their place in this elite knockout competition, where they will now face the league’s runners-up.
“I’m expecting a difficult game against Swallows, they are always a difficult side to play against,” said Dlamini.
“They play good football and they have experienced players, so we’ll have to work very hard; we can’t afford to underestimate them.”
Dlamini also believes the players will use this game as an opportunity to get into the good books of new coach Zeca Marques, who was recently promoted to head coach following Gordon Igesund’s departure to Bafana Bafana.
“They lost their coach to the national team and I think the players will give their best in this first big match to impress the new coach before the league starts,” he said.
“I believe that if we continue working together as we have been throughout pre-season then we can be able to start with a very good result.”
