The Bafana Bafana left-winger is undoubtedly the star of Kaizer Chiefs football club and the 2011/12 season has been no different.
Tshabalala has evolved as a player and is able to play anywhere in the midfield from left-wing, to central midfield to patrolling down the right flank.
His class has been there for all to see, and although he is not scoring many goals (only one at the time of writing) he is creating numerous for his teammates.
Mid-Season Profile
He has been a consistent performer and did not miss a single match for the club in 2011.
At the start of 2012, however, he missed the club’s first two games due to injury.
Season Wrap up
No player had more minutes on the pitch for Kaizer Chiefs than Siphiwe Tshabalala in the league this season, but he only showed patches of his brilliance for the fans.
Perhaps going through the motions with the dream of an overseas move still alive for much of the campaign, he finally signed a new deal with the club and that seemed to settle him.
