One of Chiefs most consistent performers throughout the years, but has fallen out of favour with coach Vladimir Vermezovic during the 2011/12 season.

The right-back started the season as captain, but after a fall-out with the coach (which never happened according to the club) he was stripped of the armband and has seen his participation in the starting XI become less and less.

Still he has played in 13 of their 17 league games thus far in the 2011/12 season, but the coach is slowly blooding Tlou Molekwane into his position.

Season Wrap up

Tau’s much publicized fall-out with ex-coach Vladimir Vermezovic, as well as a horrific  injury in the final match of the campaign, will perhaps overshadow what was a very good season for the right-back.

His excellent defence and overlapping runs that make him a threat at the other end of the pitch as well were first-class.

And more often than not he makes the right decision with his final ball.
