Bafana Bafana international Khuboni is a key man for Golden Arrows, providing the steel in midfield for their more attacking players.
He has come through the junior ranks at Abafana Bes’thende, making his debut in the 2006/07 season.
He has largely been a regular ever-since, but the last two seasons has really flourished as a player, leading to a call-up to the Bafana squad and an appearance at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in the 2-1 win over France.
Mid-Season Profile
Khuboni has been his usual reliable self in the heart of the midfield, leading the side by example with his high work rate.
Although he has never been a prolific goal scorer, he has come close on a number of occasions this season, although his only goal came from the penalty spot.
With the arrival of experienced players like Clifford Ngobeni and Anthony Mawejje to strengthen the midfield, Khuboni is expected to have more freedom in the midfield to make an impact offensively.

Khuboni started and finished all games for Arrows scoring 3 goals in 30 appearances as he demonstrated why he is one of the best players in the country.
The captain led by example as he controlled the midfield and also filled in defence when the club was hit by an injury crisis.
