The 37-year-old Dutch goalkeeper was signed at the beginning of the 2011/12 PSL campaign after Andre Petim (now on loan at Golden Arrows) suffered a serious injury and Sean Roberts needed backing in the goals.

A lack of communication between him and his backline was a downfall for Ajax this season, conceding the second highest amount of goals in the PSL but that didn’t stop him from keeping his number one starting spot after his work permit came in.
