Bartman, at 40-years-old, is one of the most experienced players in the PSL and although he plays second fiddle to Itumeleng Khune, he is highly respected amongst the Chiefs players.

Last season he was only called upon 11 times between the sticks, when Khune was injured, but he did not disappoint. What he lacks in agility he makes up for with his guile and wisdom.

He will again be the number two at Chiefs during the 2012/13 season, but as he has shown in the past he is always ready to fill the boots of Khune.
