Nthethe hasn’t heard from Igesund

The towering defender was part of the Bafana Bafana squad which took part in this year’s African Cup of Nations, but failed to feature in the tournament as the centre-back pairing of Bongani Khumalo and Siyabonga Sangweni was preferred.
Bafana will play their first match since their quarterfinal exit from the tournament on March 23rd, at the Cape Town Stadium, and Nthethe has revealed no contact has been made between him and the tactician.
“No, I haven’t heard from Gordon. I last heard from him on our last day of the tournament, when we got eliminated,” reveals the 28-year-old.
“I never spoke to him since, but he is always watching us and our team. It just gives me motivation to continue working hard.”
