Pitso lashes out at players
Pitso Mosimane coach of Mamelodi Sundowns
The Mamelodi Sundowns head coach was speaking after the 1-1 Absa Premiership draw at home to Golden Arrows in Pretoria on Tuesday night.
“It is very much the case. If you don’t start well in the first half then it is very hard to turn it around in the second half. I am very unhappy with a few big players of Sundowns. I think that some people should go to the bench because they are one game wonders,” the former Bafana Bafan coach explained.
“Having played well once than in the next game it is another thing. We could have wrapped it up in the first half. To change the game is a problem because now I had to risk and play an open game in the second half.
“I was prepared that I would rather go forward than to sit at the back and settle for a draw. I can’t settle for a draw. We could have scored because we had so many chances to wrap the game up.”
Arrows had taken the lead through Thamsanqa Gabuza but the Brazilians replied minutes later in the first half when Abel Mabaso’s shot was deflected in by Mzuvukile Tom.
