Telkom Knockout draw made

The draw for the 2012 Telkom Knockout was made in Johannesburg on Monday night.

The 16 PSL teams were split into seeded and unseeded sides, the top eight teams in the table from last year being drawn against the bottom eight.

Defending champions Orlando Pirates will face a tricky trip to Polokwane to meet Black Leopards, while Kaizer Chiefs make the short journey to BidVest Wits.

SuperSport United must visit Ajax in Cape Town, while Mamelodi Sundowns will host University of Pretoria in a Tshwane Derby.

Moroka Swallows travel to Maritzburg United, Chippa United welcome Bloemfontein Celtic and Lamontville Golden Arrows face the difficult task of meeting Free State Stars away.

Platinum Stars will travel to Durban to face AmaZulu.

The final dates, venues and kick-off times for the first round will be announced later this week after the PSL cup committee have met.
