Bradley Grobler is hoping that Ajax Cape Town’s 1-0 win over AmaZulu will be a ‘turning point’ for the squad.

The striker’s goal was the only thing that separated the two struggling teams on the night, after he netted just before the stroke of half time to sink a 10-man AmaZulu squad.

It has been stressful times at Ikamva of late with the Urban Warriors having slumped into a relegation battle all whilst losing their coach, Maarten Stekelenburg, on the back of three straight defeats.

Wilfred Mugeyi and Jan Pruijn oversaw the match in Durban and Grobler is hoping that the result is a turn of the tides for the Cape club.

“Well done to the team. Let's use this as a turning point and not look back. Thanks to all our fans for ur support,” he wrote on his official twitter account.

Ajax will now have a week’s break from footballing action before returning to the field for the Telkom Knockout Tournament- their opponents are still to be revealed.
