Evans to trial in the MLS

Evans underwent a week-long trial at MLS club Portland Timbers two months ago, but he failed to make the cut after they signed a former Glasgow Rangers full-back.
But the defender is not giving up yet as he has a second trial organised with another club in the United States.
"Yes it is true (that I have another trial)," he told MTNFootball.
"Nothing is booked yet but they are expecting me to leave next week, the 26th.
"I am holding thumbs."
The 30-year-old wasn't prepared to be say where the destination of the club will be, but he is looking to rekindle the passion of football that kept him at Ikamva for 13 years.
"I want to go to there, make it and start a new life.
"To experience a different league and a different culture and get back to my times of enjoyment in playing my football.
"I loved it here but I really want to play more games and I feel a change would be good for me."
