Black Leopards return to work today as they begin their
pre-season preparations for the upcoming 2012/13 Premier Soccer League season.
Lidoda Duvha will also have one eye on their 2012 CAF
Confederation Cup playoff tie with Sudanese side Al-Merreikh, the away leg of
which is on June 30 and the return on the weekend of 13-15 July.
Coach Sunday Chidzambwa will therefore have little time to
work on the players’ fitness ahead of their trip to Sudan, and will be hoping
that his charges return from their holidays in decent shape.
The new PSL season will start on the weekend of August
10/11, with Leopards looking to build on their 14th-place showing in
the last campaign.
