Lamontville Golden Arrows returned to training on Monday, June 18, to start their preparations for the upcoming season.

Abafana Bes’thende finished in 13th place on the Absa Premiership table last season and seem determined to improve on that by starting their preseason training earlier than most of their competitors.

According to the club’s official website, all players reported for the first training session with the exception of captain Thanduyise Khuboni.

The midfielder has been given 12 extra days off after spending most of the off season in the Bafana Bafana camp.

Zambian international Joseph Musonda did not feature for his side in June and as a result he has resumed training with the rest of the squad, alongside compatriot Collins Mbesuma.
