Lewis completes Arrows move
Stanton Lewis
The 24-year-old joined Usuthu as a free agent in September last year, penning a two year deal, but has parted ways with the club after failing to hold down a regular place in the starting lineup.
He becomes the second AmaZulu player to cross over to Arrows this season after Sibusiso Hadebe who completed his move during the January transfer window.
“I decided to remain in Durban because I’ve already settled well with my family and we are enjoying the city,” Lewis told MTNFootball.
“I also believe that Arrows has a lot of potential and the chairperson Mato Madlala has shown that she wants to take this club somewhere.
“I went to watch Arrows before the end of the season and I admire their style of play.
“I was also impressed with the number of talented young players in the squad who are still unknown and I’m excited to be part of this team.”
Lewis says he is looking forward to re-uniting with Muhsin Ertugral and giving his best in the upcoming season.
