Chiefs get Nkhatha, Leopards get Amidu
Kingston Nkhatha
Kaizer Chiefs have completed the signing
of Black Leopards’ Kingston Nkhatha, with Brian Amidu moving in the opposite
direction.
Nkhatha was unveiled by Chiefs last
week, but it then turned out that the deal had not been quite complete.
Leopards have finally agreed to a deal
which sees their Zimbabwean hitman leave, to be replaced by his young
compatriot Amidu, who Chiefs signed in January, but who never made a first-team
appearance.
AmaKhosi football manager Bobby Motaung
confirmed on Friday that Nkatha was now a Kaizer Chiefs player.
“We have concluded the deal with both
the Chairman and CEO of Black Leopards and I am happy to announce that we have
signed Kingston Nkatha.”
