Celtic make move for Mphahlele
Ramahlwe Mphahlele
Bloemfontein Celtic have confirmed that
they are in talks with Mamelodi Sundowns for the purchase of defender Ramahlwe
Mphahlele.
Mphahlele has been told to train on his own
at Sundowns and did not travel to Swaziland with the rest of the squad for
their pre-season training.
The former Moroka Swallows and national
Under-23 star is not in the plans of coach Johan Neeskens and has been told he
can leave.
Celtic are hoping to now secure a cut-price
deal for the player, with the only possible sticking point the inflated wages
he has enjoyed at Sundowns.
