Celtic get Nigerian trialist
Josiah Maduabuchi
Bloemfontein Celtic have handed a trial to
Enyima skipper Josiah Maduabuchi starting this week.
The Nigerian is hoping to win a contract in
the PSL and follow former Enyimba players Prince Olomu and Ezenwa Otorogu to
Celtic.
Both have since left, but the 24-year-old
attacking midfielder Maduabuchi knows that the South African League could be great
stepping stone to Europe. Maduabuchi will spend the week at Celtic with the
blessing of his club.
Celtic coach Clinton Larsen was in Nigeria
recently to watch a number of Sunshine Stars players and told MTNFootball.com
he would be returning there in the coming weeks for another look.
