Lamontville Golden Arrows are said to be close to securing the services of Malian midfielder Souleymane Keita.

According to reports, the 25-year-old has agreed to a two-year-deal with the club and is currently awaiting the issue of his work permit.

Keita started his career with Djoliba FC in his native country and also played for a number of teams in Arab countries including the likes of Al Jazira, ES Setif and Al-Arabi.

He also had a short stint with French club AC Ajaccio before moving to Turkey to play for Sivasspor late in 2009.

“He (Keita) is going to join us. We’re just waiting for the work permit to be issued,” Ertugral told soccer Laduma.

“I know him because he was my midfielder in Turkey when I was coaching at Sivasspor.”

Keita was also part of the Malian side which claimed third place in the 2012 Africa Cup of nations and made one appearance as a substitute.
