Ajax Cape Town have come clean on Bradley Grobler’s proposed move saying there are two sides to every transfer, but they still have hope in signing him.

The Urban Warriors announced the arrival of the 24-year-old late last month, after just a year spent at Turkish club Goztepe, but it has since become known that Grobler has returned to training in Turkey after the move came to a standstill.

Ajax have since confirmed to MTNFootball that it is a matter of Gotzepe pulling out of the deal at the last minute.

“There are two sides to every transfer,” Ajax’s PRO Shooz Mekuto divulged.

“What happened was that we contacted the club and we made an offer for him [Grobler].

“It was all agreed upon but then they changed their minds, which is normal in football and they are entitled to do that.”

The striker started 23 games and netted six times for the Turkish outfit, but voiced his eagerness to return to his home country, initially signing a four-year contract.

“I think his agent is up their now trying to sort some things out. I don’t know what will happen but we have faith.”
