Billiat eyes Scholes tussle
Khama Billiat is relishing the challenge he will face when coming up against Paul Scholes when Ajax Cape Town face Manchester United.
The Urban Warriors will take to Cape Town Stadium on Saturday, 21 July, to face the mighty Red Devils in the MTN Invitational challenge before heading to China in the second part of their world tour.
While Ryan Giggs won’t be making the trip to South Africa this time, due to his involvement in the Olympic Games, tough-tackling midfielder Scholes will be appearing for the fourth time.
"I'm looking forward in particular to playing against Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs, they are very experienced players who I have looked up to a long time," Billiat told the Premier Soccer League's website.
"It's going to be a great experience for the Ajax players and a good chance for us to learn something and see what football is like at the highest level.
"I can't wait to see who we'll come up against. Who ever plays in defence will giveus a real challenge; they have so many good defenders."
