SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt believes his strike department will add variety and options during the season ahead.

Asked whether the combination of Sibusiso Zuma and Kermit Erasmus, which worked well towards the end of last season would remain, Hunt said: “Well it might happen.

“But we also have Thabiso Nkoana who has come from our development ranks and was fantastic for us last season.

“We also have one or two up front like Atusaye Nyondo, he started the season like a house on fire, but faded. It is normal when a foreigner comes into a country that he does well, but then he starts to have one or two problems.

“He will come good again. We never used him a lot in the end last year.”

Hunt then gave his views on former Chippa United player Roscoe Pietersen.

“He is a fantastic player and good defensively.

“He did well for them (Chippa) in midfield and will help us in defence. He will come into our backline and compete with the likes of Thabo September and other players at the back.

“He has great potential and did well for Chippa last season as he has helped them come up to the PSL.”
