Soweto Derby to light up PSL

Benni McCarthy will be missing for Bucs

Orlando Pirates welcome Moroka Swallows to Orlando Stadium for their Absa Premiership Soweto Derby clash on Saturday (20h15).

The Buccaneers will look to put behind them the disappointment of their MTN8 semifinal defeat to SuperSport United at the weekend, while The Birds will be flying high after they beat Mamelodi Sundowns to reach the final of that competition.

These two sides finished first and second in the League last season, and look as though they will be challenging for top honours again.

Swallows have managed three goals in each of their last three games and are in top form, while Pirates have looked shaky at the start of the campaign, unable to find the back of the net in their last three.

They will be without leading scorer Benni McCarthy as well after his red card in the loss to SuperSport at the weekend.

I don't think Benni McCarthy will be missed on suterday, he did not contribute much other than to cost pirates on semis against SSU. I predict swallows will walk away with 3 points if they continue with the form run.
