Black Leopards have confirmed that they will be using the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium as an alternate venue this season.

Lidoda Duvha will play six of their matches at the venue, and nine at the 2010 FIFA World Cup venue that goes by the same name just a hundred metres or so away.

The club has been forced to dump the Giyani Stadium as it is undergoing renovations and is likely to be out of commission for the entire season.

“We will be playing at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, the pitch looks fantastic and the stadium did receive some renovation ahead of the 2010 World Cup, so it has been upgraded on the past,” club spokesman Tendani Thidiela says.

Leopards start their new League campaign at home to Bloemfontein Celtic at the new Peter Mokaba venue on Saturday, with their first game at the old stadium scheduled for September 2 against Chippa United.
