Celtic meet bogie side
Bloemfontein Celtic host Platinum Stars at
the Free State Stadium in their Absa Premiership clash on Wednesday (19h30).
Phunya Sele Sele have had a difficult start
to the season, unlucky to lose their MTN8 quarterfinal 1-0 to Orlando Pirates,
and disappointing 3-2 losers away at Black Leopards in their League opener.
They will hope to put the record right
against Dikwena, though their recent record – home or away – against the North
West club has been dismal.
Stars have won the last three meetings (two
of which were in Bloemfontein), while the game before that run ended in a 1-1
draw as well.
Another defeat would lift the pressure on
Celtic coach Clinton Larsen, though with so many new faces at the club it is
only fair to give the players time to gel.
