Akpabio on loan from Ajax to Vasco
The former Plateau United forward told MTNFootball.com that the deal was sealed Friday and that he is looking forward to playing regularly and scoring goals for the lower league South African club club.
“I have joined Vasco da Gama on loan for this season. I am looking forward to having a good time and good run here. I want to have regular playing time and that is the reason why I am here. I will do my best to get goals for Vasco,”” Akpabio told MTNFootball.com.
Akpabio scored a goal for Ajax Cape Town last season and at the end of the season he underwent surgery for a problematic ankle injury.
Vasco da Gama are based in Parow, Cape Town.
