Teko tells teammates to man up
Sundowns were two goals down inside the first 15 minutes of the first leg against Swallows last weekend, but fought back to draw the match 3-3.
Now Modise has acknowledged that his side gave away three away goals at home, but they have the quality to score three themselves in Soweto.
The former Bafana Bafana captain says that the Brazilians cannot depend heavily on the good squad they have on paper as football is played on grass.
“All we have to do on Sunday is to go there and win the game. The 3-3 scoreline does not say anything as it is a new game all together on Sunday,” says the former Orlando Pirates playmaker.
“With the quality that we have in the team we need to come to the party as well. We don’t only need to depend on the quality that we have, we have to work hard too.
“If things aren’t going our way on the pitch, we need to grind results.
“When the going gets tough we need to ‘man up’ and get the results.”
