Zimbabwean winger Paul Rusike left Ajax Cape Town on Friday for a seven-day trial period at Belgium’s Oud-Heverlee Leuven.

The Zimbabwean was invited to undergo a week-long trial period after impressing last season.

After arriving in Belgium on Saturday morning, the tricky winger was shown the ins and outs of the club before attending a domestic league match between OH Leuven and Cercle Brugge that very same day.

Rusike is just one of a growing list of players to have been sent from Ajax Cape Town on trial to Europe.

He is expected to return back to the Mother City at the end of the week, meaning he will miss out on the club’s PSL match against Moroka Swallows on Wednesday.
