‘New Start’ for Molekwane
Tlou Molekwane of Bidvest Wits
The 23-year-old defender joined the University-based team from Kazier chiefs where he only played four league games in the 2011/12 season.
Now in the blue colours of Wits, Molekwane feels the upcoming season provides him with a chance to shine and admits he is fitting in at his new club.
“It is a new start for me. I think I am going to get game time and I am going to work very hard for the team.
“Since I have joined the team I got a warm welcome and have done well. I am fitting well with the guys and the way they are playing,” said the right-back.
Molekwane went on to add that it was because of the lack of game time he left Chiefs. He also highlighted the difference in pressure between the two clubs.
“I struggled to get game time at Chiefs, so here at Wits I just need to work very hard so that I can get a chance and I will grab it with both hands.
“Obviously there is a difference between Kaizer Chiefs and Wits because Chiefs is a big team and there is a lot of expectations – too much pressure.
“Here at Wits there isn’t that pressure and I will be able to play my normal game, and do well for the team,” concluded the player.
