ABSA Premiership 2011/12
League Overview
The South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) was founded in 1996 through the efforts of Kaizer Motaung (Kaizer Chiefs) and Irvin Khoza (Orlando Pirates). The two guardians of local football were instrumental in the league’s creation and development along with PSL CEO Trevor Phillips. The PSL is sponsored by Absa Bank and is known locally as the Absa Premiership.
The 2011/12 season kicked off on 12th August 2011.Standings
