Gbolahan struck in the 41st minute to give the Oluyole warlords victory.
The former Enyimba striker capped a great performance with a powerful shot and has now scored three goals in two games after netting twice against Union Bank of Lagos last week at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
‘The Oluyole Warriors’ started with a strong squad that featured Dele Ajiboye, Diran Oyelade, Olabisi Samuel, Seun Akinyemi, Adigun Olamide,Sanni Mohammed, Okiki Afolabi, Sola Adeboye, Gabriel Adikwu, Gbolahan Salami and Tony Edjomariegwe.
ABS searched desperately for an equaliser and twice forced brilliant saves from Ajiboye in goal for Shooting Stars.
Shooting Stars fielded a different squad in the second half that included the likes of Richard Amanyi, David Amanyi, Adigun Yomi, Mutiu Adegoke, Sylvanus Ebiaku, Musa Raphael, Ibrahim Babalola and Morenikeji Akanbi.
A rematch will be staged at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on Thursday by 4.00pm
