Kofarmata - With Heartland last season
Bello Musa Kofarmata has travelled with Kano Pillars to Niger for an invitational tournament with a view to rejoining the club.

“Yes, Kofarmata is with the team to Niger. We will see what he is capable of during the competition,” Pillars general manager Abba Galadima told MTNFootball.com

In 2008, Kofarmata’s goals helped his hometown club to their first-ever league crown before he moved to Heartland.

The former Nigeria ‘B’ international is a fast, direct right winger armed with a good shot.

Another former Pillars star aiming to impress and return to the fold is central defender Ikechukwu Gabriel, who is also on the 32-man squad to Niamey.

Last season, Gabriel featured for Warri Wolves.

Several of Pillars new signings including Promise James (Enyimba), Ibrahim Shuaibu (Giwa FC), Mathias Samuel (Gombe United) and Emma Bivan (Kaduna United) are also on the trip.

The week-long Niger tournament kicks off on Wednesday and the other teams who will feature are Olympic FC and ASFAN both of Niger as well as Rail FC Kadiogo from Burkina Faso.
