Morenikeji big doubt for Akwa clash
3SC winger Morenikeji injured
Morenikeji was forced out of the Federation Cup game against Fame Academy of Lagos Monday after only 10 minutes as a result of a knee injury.
The tricky winger has since skipped training.
However, 3SC will be boosted by the return of Afolabi Okiki from the national U20 team as well as the expected return of midfielder Moses Ogaga, who did not feature in the team’s last home game.
Goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye, who has been nursing an ankle injury, has resumed personal training apart from the main squad.
The Ibadan club are expected to line up several of their recent signings against Akwa after they could not feature in the shock 2-1 loss to non-leaguers Fame Academy because they were not registered for the cup competition.
