3SC striker Adesina nears Ashdod switch
3SC striker Adesina
"It is now very likely that I will leave for Ashdod of Israel because the club have expressed interest in me after my trials there and very soon my agent and the club officials will be here to finalise my contract,” the former Africa Sports of Abidjan striker informed MTNFootball.com
"During my stay there in Israel I featured in five matches and I scored seven goals and so I’m now looking forward to joining the team, who also have Nigeria international Efe Ambrose.”
FC Ashdod, nicknamed ‘The Dolphins’, finished seventh in the Israeli top league this past season.
Adesina struggled to get to grips with the Nigeria Premier League at the start of the season, but the striker nicknamed ‘The Bull’ soon found his feet to even attract the attention of six-time champions Enyimba.
