Coach Unuanel now with Falcons
NPL strugglers Ocean Boys have granted coach Samson Unuanel leave to be with the women’s national team till the end of the season.

Ocean Boys spokesman Eddy Ohis said the future of the coach will be decided thereafter.

"We have decided to give the technical adviser Samson Unuanel a break from the team till the end of the season,” he informed MTNFootball.com

“Though our chairman was not happy that he left us at that crucial moment for the Falcons, but we are happy for him as we appreciate the progress he has made.

“We now want Ada Gwegwe, who has been in charge since the T.A left us, to continue till the end of the season after which we evaluate the team and decide what the next line of action is.

“We appreciate him and congratulate him for being part of the team who have secured ticket to play at Africa Women Championship in November."

Unuanel guided Ocean Boys to third place in last year’s Federation Cup.

However, they look doomed for relegation this season with six rounds of matches to be played.
